Services - Operational & Business Model

Working in partnership with statutory bodies, the Enfield Clubhouse, Enfield Mental Health Users Group, Business Link in London, Inclsuisve Business Solutions Ltd, and Inclusive Solutions Consultants Ltd our objective is to get people into work or self employment by creating an enabling environment for clients integrating support services  centred around one-to-one support and mentoring as well as including employment advice, information and guidance, inductive training, job coaching, soft skils training, physical therapy and CBT in our portfolio of services in the Boroughs of Enfield, Haringey and Barnet.

We will also operate an entrepreneur support model selling business support services including sales and marketing services to self service users and disabled consultants.

A range of tailored, confidential services will be provided at no cost to the individual. Support includes action planning and basic skills assessment to explore options and training needs, CV writing advice, help with application forms, intense job search, free access to newspapers and stationery, confidence building, interview techniques and basic computer skills.

To reach the long-term unemployed, we will locate our specialist employment advisors directly within local communities, for example in libraries, colleges, community centres, neighbourhood housing offices, mosques and churches.

In addition, people with health issues arising from disability, long-term and mental illness, injury, drug and alcohol abuse, are specifically targeted by our employment advisers based in doctor’s surgeries, health centres, pain clinics and hospitals.

Social Enterprises- The journey from unemployment into work can be very tough for some. A staged approach is needed, including a supportive employment environment to help people develop their skills and confidence. We are therefore developing a number of social enterprises – businesses that trade for profit but recognise their social mission to provide an intermediate step for those in need. An advisor will provide one-to-one and group support to ensure that people working within these social enterprises can graduate into long-term work.

Why we offer these services

Inclusive Solutions believes that everyone should have the opportunity to work. We also believe that work, in turn, can benefit individuals by boosting their self-confidence, giving purpose and building health and well-being.  There are also wider social and economic benefits of helping clients return to productive work. Many people with mental health issues are not currently in paid employment. This can be due to the stigma associated with mental health, lack of confidence and experience or the fluctuating effects of their health problems.

What difference does it make?  Benefits include:

  • improved confidence and self-esteem
  • better chance of employment
  • additional income without affecting benefits
  • chance to meet new colleagues
